Pink Bra

We went to Wal-mart today and Hailey was so excited when she found a little pink bra in the children's section. She held it up in front of the mirror. I told her she didn't need a bra, but she dreamily said, "I'll need one someday". I think this is a little glimpse of what's to come.

Dentist visit

Well both girls went to the dentist today for the first time (I know, Hailey is a little behind on visits.) I wish I would have brought my camera because Hailey looked so cute sitting in the chair. They had her put on a pair of bright green sunglasses so the light wouldn't blare in her eyes. I was busy holding Audrey while she had her check up, and Hailey just sat perfectly still in the Chair while the dentist examined her. Both girls looked good...no cavities. Thank goodness.

Hard Heads

Audrey thought it is was so funny when Hailey would come running at her...it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt. Then it's hilarious!

Audrey is walking

Audrey has been walking for about 3 weeks now, but she is finally walking more than she is crawling. She looks too little to be walking and she takes the tinniest little steps, but she gets around pretty well. It's hard to get a good video of her because Hailey loves to be in front of the camera.

Audrey turns 1

.

Audrey turned one yesterday. It is hard to believe that our baby is one!! She is a silly little girl. She loves to play with Hailey, but she has no problem pushing her out of a chair or off mom's lap. We went on a picnic and little train ride yesterday to celebrate her birthday. Audrey was so excited when Mark sat her down on the seat. She just kicked her legs and clapped her hands. She got a little worried when the train started and every time we passed by a railroad crossing and the alarm sounded.

It was funny to watch Audrey eat her birthday cake. At first she just swiped a little frosting with her finger and then licked it. After a while she started taking fist fulls and shoving it in her mouth. Then she really got into it and just leaned forward and took a few good bites. She had frosting all over her face, hands and arms. It was up her nose and on her eyelashes. We realized later that she hadn't even tasted the cake, just the frosting. Audrey would take fistfuls of frosting and try to feed Hailey. They both had fun and loved the cake.
