Mexican Baby

The first time I put this shirt on Spencer Hailey walked up to him and in a high pitched voice she said "look at my little Mexican baby!" I said, "Hailey why did you call him a Mexican baby?" She said "because of his shirt." To which I replied, "are you sure you don't mean a Hawaiian baby?" and she said "Oh yeah that's what I mean!"

5th tooth.

Hailey lost another tooth tonight. For some reason she was a little more nervous about getting it pulled. Last time the tooth fell out during the night and we were afraid it would happen again. Mark tricked her and she didn't even notice when he pulled it.

Spencer's Many Names

The other morning I was talking to the family about the many different names we call Spencer. Here are most of them:

Spence
Broody
buba
Spencer Boy
Spencer Dency
Little Man
Big Boy
The Dispencer of ______ (usually we say Happiness)
Little Buddy
Smiley

There probably are a few more, but this is all I can think of at the moment. Whatever name we call him doesn't really matter, he is the sweetest, happiest, most content baby I have ever seen.

10 apples up on top

At mommy school we read 10 Apples up on Top. We did some apple crafts and some other things that had to do with the letter A or with apples. Audrey made this Apples Up on Top head band. She thought it was pretty neat.

3 months old

Spencer is 3 months old. He is such a happy baby. He has discovered his hands and most of the time he will be sucking on one or the other. He weighs 15 pounds 4 ounces. He loves to laugh and he has started playing with toys and blankets. Mimi made him a lovey with ribbons. He loves to play with it.

Camping

The girls had been asking for a while if they could sleep in a tent so we decided to pitch on in the backyard. We had a fire and smores. We read books in the tent before bed and then Mark and the girls slept outside while Spencer and I enjoyed are nice comfy beds.

U of A football game

Mark and I got 5 free tickets from the U of A Athletic director. So on the 11th we went with some friends to U of A's opening football game against The Citadale. U of A won by 40 something. Not a close game, but exciting anyways. We left the girls with Mark's mom, but we took Spencer with us. He was so good, he even slept through part of it.

Hailey's first soccer game

Hailey had her first soccer game on Saturday Sept 11th. Mark and I are her coaches. She loves it and she's pretty good. We have a great group of little girls ages 4-6.
