Halloween
For Halloween this year we dressed up like the characters from Toy Story. Mark was Woody, Spencer-Buzz, I was Jesse, Audrey was Mrs. Potato head and Hailey was Bo-peep. We had a ward party that Mark was in charge of and then on Halloween we went to our friends the Goodmans for a Halloween dinner and then trick-o-treating.

Uh huh
Whenever we ask Spencer if he wants something he says uh huh. He's also started to say nu huh when he doesn't want something.
Another funny thing he is doing lately is he puts himself in timeout. If either of the girls get sent to time out he's right there behind them and he sits himself down right next to them.
He also has begun trying to say prayers. He will fold his arms and say "Anen"

Trouble
If Spencer is being quiet you know he's causing some sort of trouble. Today it was emptying daddy's drawers. Here he is putting everything back.

Smith family Halloween party
We had a wonderful time at our family Halloween part. There was food, games and even a pumpkin piñata. The kids ad fun dressing up in their costumes:Hailey was Bo peep, Spencer was Buzz Lightyear and Audrey was Mrs. Potato Head.

Spencer 15 months
Spencer is almost 16 months old. I can’t believe how quickly he is growing up. He is not a baby anymore. He loves cars and balls and tractors. He gives high fives and he “pounds it”.
These are some of the words Spencer can say : Audrey, Haudrey, (His name for Haiely) Daddy, Mama, Mommy, car-car, tractor, cracker, banana, cup, up, out, hot, hat, Tucker (Mimi’s dog) kitty, cow, ball, Papa, hi (phone), shoes, teeth, boots, cookie, Jesus and no.
Spencer is climbing on everything. He pushes the chair up to the counter and then helps himself to anything that is in reach. We have to be obsessive about keeping the bathroom door closed because he loves to play with toilet paper and really loves playing in the toilet.
Spencer is sweet and he loves his sisters. He knows when we are on the way to pick them up and he starts saying their names. He gives kisses and hugs.
I took him in for his 15 month check-up and Spencer weighs 19 pounds 11 ounces and he is 31 inches long.

Our New House!
After a year of looking and 4 different offers on 4 different houses we finally bought our first house. We are loving the Space and the location. It was a little difficult for my to move to Thatcher, but I think he's finally glad we did. This is what it looked like before we painted a more neutral color.

First Day of School
Hailey started first grade at a new school. Even though we hadn't closed on the new house we started her in Thatcher school. Her teacher's name is Mrs Norton.
Audrey started preschool this year and she loves it. She wishes she could go every day.

Hailey's 7th Birthday
I can't beleive Hailey is 7!!! This year her Birthday also happened to be on the first day of school. While we were visiting family during the summer Hailey had 2 parties with cousins- one in Utah with the Elms cousins and the other at the pond in Pima with the Smith cousins.
She was very excited about that. On her birthday we opened presents before school. I brought cupcakes to her class and then after school we went bowling as a family.

4th of July 2011
We had a wonderful Independence day. We got up early for a annual 4th of July Breakfast and Bike parade at church. We decorated the girls bikes and Spencer's Wagon. They had a really good time riding around.
After the breakfast we walked down to main street for the County parade. It only lasted a few minutes, but the kids had fun.
After the city parade we walked back over to the old library to watch the rubber ducky race through the canal. It was a fundraiser for something, we don't really know what, but Mark and Audrey bought a duck. We didn't win, but it was fun to watch.
We had a BBQ at Mimi's and Papa's and then at 8:45 we went to watch the fire works at the fairgrounds. Spencer liked the lights until he got to tired. Audrey covered her ears even though we were far enough away that they weren't even loud,
Over all it was one of the best 4th of Julys ever!! God Bless America!

Spencer is walking!
Spencer started walking today. He's been taking 4 or 5 steps for about the last 2 weeks, but now he is really walking. He hardly crawls at all.

Father's Day 2011
For Father's day Mark got a new grill. Our old grill that we bought at DI 5 years ago died. Mark is pretty excited about it and its infrared capabilities. I have to admit it grills really well.

Spencer's Birthday June 16th 2011
I can't believe Spencer is 1!!! This year has flown by. Spencer got a wagon for his birthday and he was so excited. He loves to go for rides. He also got a John Deer Truck. He was tired and thirsty so he wasn't very excite about his cake. Plus we gave it to him and then pulled it away so Mark could fix the video Camera.

Spencer 10 Months-old
Spencer is 10 months old. He's Pulling him-self up, walking along the furniture and crawling all over the place. He can say Dada, Mama, Uh-Oh, All done. He is so fun, we just can't get enough of him. He weighs 18 pounds 1 Ounce and is 29 inches long.
